Where a product is faulty, damaged on arrival, or fails to meet a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law, we will refund or replace the product (including the original shipping cost) at no cost to you, in accordance with your rights under the ACL.
Our full Refund Policy sets out how returns and refunds are handled.
Section 9 — Warranty
Mummio does not offer an additional voluntary warranty beyond your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Under the Australian Consumer Law, our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded by agreement. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the product repaired or replaced if the product fails to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
For questions about your consumer rights, you can visit the ACCC website at accc.gov.au or contact your local consumer protection authority.
Section 10 — Australian Consumer Law
Your consumer rights are protected. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you are entitled to under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable Australian law that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified by agreement.
Under the ACL, consumers are entitled to certain guarantees in relation to goods and services, including that goods will be of acceptable quality, fit for their disclosed purpose, match their description, and come with clear title. Where a product fails to meet these guarantees, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or compensation depending on the nature of the failure.
To the extent any provision of these Terms is inconsistent with the ACL or any other non-excludable law, that provision is modified or severed to the extent necessary to give effect to your statutory rights.
